RenoRide Car & Bike Service Policy

Last Updated: 23/09/2026

At RenoRide, we believe vehicle service should be clear, convenient, and handled with care. This Service Policy explains how our car and bike services work, what customers can expect, and how applicable service charges are handled.

01

Service Booking & Confirmation

All service requests are subject to service availability, location, vehicle type, service requirement, and mechanic availability.

A booking is considered confirmed only after the required details have been received and the service has been accepted or confirmed by RenoRide.

Service timing may vary depending on the nature of the work, mechanic availability, traffic, workload, and other practical circumstances.

02

Online & Doorstep Service

RenoRide provides doorstep service for selected services and locations where the required work can be safely and practically completed at the customer’s location.

Not every service can be completed at the doorstep. Certain jobs may require additional equipment, specialised tools, workshop facilities, or further inspection.

Where workshop service is required, the vehicle may be picked up or transported to the workshop where applicable. Pickup, handling, transportation, or related charges may apply depending on the service and distance.

03

Visiting, Pickup & Travel Charges

For online service bookings, applicable visiting, pickup, transportation, or travel charges may apply depending on the service, location, and distance.

We aim to keep these charges reasonable and communicate applicable charges clearly.

For services where the customer directly brings the vehicle to an applicable workshop location, doorstep visiting or pickup charges may not apply.

04

Vehicle Inspection & Diagnosis

Before carrying out certain services or repairs, the vehicle may need to be inspected to identify the actual issue and determine the work required.

Inspection may include checking the vehicle condition, identifying faults, diagnosing the cause of an issue, and determining whether additional work or replacement parts are required.

Service Decision :

After inspection, the required work and estimated cost will be explained clearly.

If you choose not to continue with the service after inspection, the applicable inspection and labour charges will still apply, as the mechanic’s time, effort, and diagnosis work have already been involved in the process.

We appreciate your understanding and support for the work carried out by our service team.

05

Service Scope & Additional Work

The service carried out will depend on the service selected and the actual condition of the vehicle.

During inspection or while carrying out the requested work, additional issues may be identified.

Any additional repair, replacement, spare part, or extra work that is outside the originally requested service may be discussed with the customer before proceeding, wherever reasonably possible.

Additional charges may apply for work or parts approved by the customer.

06

Spare Parts & Materials

Replacement parts, engine oil, consumables, and other materials may be required depending on the service.

Applicable charges for parts and materials will be communicated based on availability and service requirements.

Where reasonably possible, customers will be informed before additional replacement parts or materials are used.

07

Service Timing

We do not promise unrealistic instant service.

Our priority is to complete the required work properly and safely. Service time may vary depending on the type of work, vehicle condition, workload, mechanic availability, traffic, availability of parts, workshop requirements, or other circumstances.

Reasonable delays may therefore occur, and we appreciate your understanding when circumstances affect the expected completion time.

08

Mechanic Dispatch & Customer Cancellation

Once a mechanic has been assigned and dispatched, the mechanic may already be travelling towards the service location.

If the customer cancels after the mechanic has been dispatched and is travelling, but before the service has started, an applicable mechanic visit or travel charge may apply based on the applicable distance, travel rate, or service-visit charge.

If the mechanic has already reached the customer’s location and the service is cancelled, the applicable visit or travel charge will remain payable.

These charges compensate for the mechanic’s time, travel, and scheduled service commitment.

09

Cancellation After Service Has Started

If the customer cancels after inspection, servicing, repair, or other service work has commenced, charges for work already carried out will remain payable.

This may include, where applicable:
  • Inspection and diagnosis charges
  • Labour charges for work already completed
  • Mechanic visit or travel charges
  • Pickup, handling, or transportation charges
  • Spare parts and materials already used
  • Parts or materials specifically procured for the approved service
  • Other previously approved service charges

Any applicable refund will be calculated after deducting the charges incurred up to the time of cancellation.

10

Workshop Service & Vehicle Handling

Some services may require workshop facilities and cannot be completed at the customer’s location.

Where workshop service is required and pickup is available, the vehicle will be handled with reasonable care during pickup and transportation.

Applicable pickup, transportation, or handling charges may vary based on distance and service requirements.

11

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are expected to:

  • Provide accurate vehicle and service information.
  • Provide correct service location and contact details.
  • Make the vehicle reasonably accessible at the scheduled time.
  • Inform RenoRide about any known vehicle issues or relevant conditions.
  • Remove personal belongings and valuables from the vehicle before service or pickup.
  • Provide necessary access, keys, documents, or information required to carry out the service.

Incorrect or incomplete information may affect service availability, timing, diagnosis, or applicable charges.

12

Vehicle Condition & Pre-existing Issues

The condition of a vehicle may affect the service process and outcome.

RenoRide is not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, worn components, or issues unrelated to the service performed.

If an existing issue becomes apparent during inspection or service, the customer may be informed and additional work may be recommended.

13

Service Limitations

Certain services may not be suitable for doorstep completion due to safety requirements, equipment limitations, technical complexity, vehicle condition, location, or the nature of the repair.

In such cases, RenoRide may recommend workshop service or another suitable service arrangement.

Service availability may also vary by location and mechanic availability.

14

Service Completion

Once the agreed service has been completed, the customer may be informed of the work carried out and any relevant observations.

Customers are encouraged to check the vehicle and raise any service-related concern with RenoRide as soon as reasonably possible.

Any applicable rework, correction, or service support will be considered based on the nature of the issue and the service performed.

15

Service Charges & Payment

All applicable service charges, labour charges, visiting or travel charges, pickup charges, spare parts, materials, and other approved charges are payable as communicated during the booking or service process.

Where the final cost depends on inspection, the estimated amount may change after the vehicle has been inspected.

Any additional work or parts should be communicated to the customer before proceeding, wherever reasonably possible.

16

Refunds & Cancellation Charges

Refund eligibility and applicable deductions will be determined based on the work already performed, charges incurred, parts or materials used, and the applicable cancellation conditions.

For detailed refund terms, customers should refer to the RenoRide Cancellation & Refund Policy.

17

Service Delays & Unforeseen Circumstances

Service schedules may be affected by traffic, weather, workload, mechanic availability, vehicle condition, parts availability, workshop requirements, technical issues, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.

In such situations, RenoRide will make reasonable efforts to communicate relevant updates and complete the service as soon as reasonably possible.

18

Safety & Service Conditions

RenoRide may decline, postpone, or modify a service where carrying out the work at the requested location may create a safety risk or where the required service cannot reasonably be completed with the available equipment or conditions.

Customer and mechanic safety will be given appropriate consideration throughout the service process.

19

Policy Updates

RenoRide may update this Service Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, operations, procedures, or applicable requirements.

The updated policy will apply from the date it is published on the website.
